Our History

Primary Grounds began as a lawn cutting service in the spring of 1989 by two college students making their way through college. Scott Rau who was one of the original two partners, eventually became sole owner of the company. Over the last 17 years, Scott has transformed the company from being just a lawn cutting service, to offering professional commercial and residential full grounds services that address not only the exceptional look, but health of lawn and landscaping.
